We opened this baby for dinner November 24, 2024. Aromas of dark fruit, blueberry, and licorice. A fruit bomb on the palate: black cherries, anise, more licorice. Tannins are nicely smoothed out. Stored in our Eurocave since its arrival. Drink now, may improve over the next few years. 93 points.
The wine is 61% cabernet sauvignon, 29% cabernet franc, and 10% merlot.
This is the wine that persuaded Norma not to cancel our RN Estate Club Membership. We will continue to support Roger Nicolas into the indefinite future.
